Battery Park

Hey guys! So I know the post last week was about the National Museum of the American Indian, but that is not all that Battery Park has in store. Nearby are a few other stops too! I thought I would use this post as a chance to be able to give a quick debrief on other outing spots in lower manhattan!

Although this photo is from a little further up (Rockefeller Park in Battery Park City), you can get a glimpse of the water and Lady Liberty herself. Battery Park has a wonderful view of the Hudson River. You can also see across to New Jersey and it provides quick and easy access to both the Governor's Island and Staten Island Ferries. The Museum of Jewish Heritage is also not too far away, with tickets priced at only $12 if you show your student ID to a clerk at check-in, a quick and easy way to save money!

Below is a video of both Ferry docks right when you get out of the Whitehall St. Subway station.
